First of all thank you for following this post .

And i'm hoping that as i post new topics you go through also from the beggining topics.

And so today....i just thought of throwing you guys a little fire in your memories...Below are questions
that are all based from the topics i had raised here.

Here it goes:

1.Does "Annyeong haseyo" 안녕하세요 only means " Hello"?

Answer: No , it is a greeting that can mean good morning...evening etc...., hello, hi , or it can even mean
"Are you doing well?"

2.What does "haseyo" means?

Answer: it is the polite form of "hada/하다" means " to do"

3.in the sentence " My name is Dina"...which one you will use " ieyo or yeyo" and in the sentence
above, which word will you connect it.

Answer: Use "Yeyo".

If we will transpose the sentence to hangeul it will be:

My name 은 Dina (is) 예요 or

내 이름은 디나예요

Note in the topic above regarding Yeyo and ieyo , that these are the same with the english "verb to be"
- am ,are, is

In this case we use yeyo because the noun where we will connect the yeyo or ieyo ends with vowel
which is Dina.
4. Which is more polite " yo" or (b/seub) nida

Answer: (b/seub) nida

5. What time is this: 세 시예요

Answer: 3:00

6. 고객이 가고있어요

Can you write the romanized translation- applying the sound shifting in the character " ㄱ "

Write it according to the correct syllabication as written above.

Answer: GO GAEG I GA GO ISS EO YO

The customer is going.

WILL BE PRONOUNCED AS :

KOGAEGI KAGO ISSOYO

Note how the character ㄱ changes from g to k or k to g......

Check the rules above ....and tell me how it comes to be pronounced that way.
