Kenneth Grant's non-fiction work included here builds on itself, starting with "The
Magickal Revival" and going out to "Outside the Circles of Time". They're arranged in
the form of trilogies, referred to as the "Typhonian Trilogies", starting with Magickal
Revival, Aleister Crowley and the Hidden God, and Cults of the Shadow making up the
first trilogy, and Nightside of Eden, Outside the Circles of Time, and Hecate's Fountain
making up the second trilogy. Hecate's Fountain is not included here. The third trilogy is
made up of The Outer Gateways, Beyond the Mauve Zone, and The Ninth Arch.

from the OTO system of initiation, and direct commentary on the Golden Dawn in his
works occupies a small portion of it.
