What’s the purpose of mechanical drafting and how do I do it?

People often ask questions like

this, they would often utter words like “mechanical drafting is hard, I could never do it” without even
knowing what’s the purpose of mechanical drafting and what it is. But really, what is mechanical drafting
and what’s its purpose? Mechanical drafting is a method of creating technical drawings and designs using
manual or computer-aided drafting (CAD) techniques the purpose of is to help us define and illustrate
specific mechanical requirements and processes.

What will I need? You may ask, well it’s simple you will only need things that are said and listed
in this essay, the first things is a t-square, you will need this for making horizontal lines. Then you’ll also
need a protractor, a protractor will help you a lot whenever we need to measure angles and arcs, to add
to that you will also need a pencil and an eraser, those two are the most important item that you will ever
need when making a draft so don’t forget about them. We made our barangay’s map as an example of the
correct measurements and drafting using those things.

Moreover, we are proud of our barangay because it is one of the good barangays in LaPaz for me.
Another reason is that the people here work together and unite to make our barangay happy, orderly,
quiet, clean, and peaceful with the help of our reliable and trustworthy members and captains.
Furthermore, youth in our barangay are active in sports and they fear God so they’re not getting addicted
to drugs, not only that because they’re also maintaining their polite manner all of the time. Therefore,
there are many things that I should be proud of in our barangay

Interesting right? Well, if you are planning to draw your map too, it is a must for you to read this
out. Let me give you the steps. First, you should google your map and then save it for later. Second, you
need to get your materials ready, an illustration board, a pencil, and other drawing materials that you need
to use for sketching. Third, start drawing your borderline (a half of an inch from each side then add 2
inches from the bottom). Fourth, start sketching your map using your pencil, copy your map that you
researched. Lastly, if you’re finished, trace your sketch by using a pen to finalize it, then erase the trace of
the pencil and you’re done! By the way, you can also color it if you want to make your map look livelier,
it’s completely up to you!
