There are many beautiful parks in my town and the most famous one is Udayana Park . It
is a city park that located on Udayana Street which is strecthed from the intersection close
to Indonesian Bank and Islamic centre to the intersection close to the former of Selaparang
Airport. There are schools and office buildings along this street. Our school is one school that
is very close to the park.
Udayana Park is well known for its car free day activity. Many people come to this
place to have jogging, cycling , walking and other sport activity. Udayana Street is a busy
street on the weekdays but on Sunday people love to come for leisure thing. There are many
street vendors along the pavement and food sellers are easily found in the park. Visitors can
sit on the mat, enjoy their delicious breakfast and look at the people walking around. They
like to spend their Sunday here until ten o’clock. Actually on car free day, Udayana is also a
great place for gathering and fund raising.

Banda Island is one of Indonesian’s Islands. It consist of ten small islands which form
part of Maluku Province. Banda is famous for its history. Once they were known as the
Spices Islands, where many European sailors came to get spices. Furthermore, Bung Hatta,
our first vice-president was exiled to this island.
Banda Island is in the middle of the Banda Sea. Diving and snorkeling around Banda
vary from merely sensasional to awesome. It is also suitable for travelers with a taste for hot,
dramatically beautiful and eccentric places. Here, people can see the place where Bung Hatta
stayed during his isolation. There are forts as colonial inheritances, such as Fort Belgica.

THE SEA EAGLE

There is an eagle nesting on the tree top near my grandparent’s house in Meninting. It is a sea
eagle. The color of its feathers is light brown. It has a strong and sharp yellowish beak. Its claws are
very sharp. It hunts for the fish in the sea but sometimes it hunts chickens and small birds.
Eagles have many sizes, shapes, and colors but the sea eagle is easy to recognize because it
has strong streamlined, sharp beak and stream lined body. Its forelimbs (or arms) serve as wings.
