The Emco Wheaton LPG transfer system offers a successful and economic solution of loading/unloading
LPG into Rail cars. In contrast to hoses, this transfer system provides safety from explosion, driveway
obstructions and condensate losses at site – all of which improve operator safety and profit margins.
Common hazards associated with loading and unloading LPG railcars such as operator cold burns,
collapsing railcars and product loss are reduced to virtually zero.

Specifically designed for the loading/ unloading of railcars, quick and safe connection to the vessel by
c o u p l e r s a n d c o m f o r t a b l e s m o o th h a n d l i n g i m p r o v e l o a d i n g t i m e .

Traditionally 3 loading arms were required to make three separate connections to the rail car. The Emco
Wheaton LPG transfer system design incorporates 2 LPG loading connections and 1 Vapor return hose
line having the ability to reach each connection point at once with ease. All 3 lines are carried within 1 loading
arm.

The Emco Wheaton Transfer System Loading arm is designed for safe and efficient LPG transfer. Proven
TODO Dry-Break™ technology has been integrated into this loading arm. The TODO Break-away coupling
d e s i g n e d t o e l i m i n a t e s p i l l a g e a n d d a m a ge a s s o c i a t e d w i t h d r i v e a w a y i n c i d e n t s a n d t h e T O D O - G A S ™ C o u p l e r
s p e c i f i c a l l y d e s i g n e d f o r t h e s a f e r tr a n s f e r o f L P G i n b o t h l i q u i d a n d v a p o r p h a s e s . T h e m a t e r i a l s o f
construction and components designed are specified to recognize the unique properties of LPG handling
characteristics.

TODO-GAS COUPLINGS
The TODO-GAS™ couplings are designed
primarily for loading/ unloading of railcars,
bobtails and intermediate bulk delivery trucks. A
release upon disconnection volume of only 0.35
c c a n d w i t h o n e o r t w o ha n d l e o p t io n s an d a n
integral swivel, TODO-GAS™ 2” couplings can
cope with almost any loading equipment.

TODO BREAKAWAY COUPLINGS

The TODO NGX Break-Away Coupling has been
designed to eliminate spillage and damage
associated with drive and/or pull away
incidents. The coupler identifies an excessive
load, closes the valves and then allows for
disconnection.
