Subject: Performance test of a panel filter utilizing synthetic media according to

ISO 16890-2, -3 and -4.

Test specimen: Panel filter in metal frame

Model / Parts ID: Pleated filter
Media type / ID: Synthetic / Sandler filtration medium Sawaloom Plus 8757
Serial- or batch number: Not indicated
Flow direction: Arrow direction on filter label
Printing: See picture below
Dimensions (total): 592 x 592 x 50 mm
Pleat height: 45 mm
Nominal air flow: 3400 m³/h
Ambient pressure: 964 / 950 mbar
Samples received: October 20th, 2023
Filter test performed: October 24th, November 2nd + 8th, 2023

Test method: Test has been performed according to the procedures as defined in
ISO 16890-2, -3 and -4 “Air filter for general ventilation”.

Variations from the test standard: No.

General remarks: This test report consists of 13 pages and may only be published in its
entirety. Publications of excerpts from this report are only permitted with
written permission of Fiatec experts.

fiatec Filter & Aerosol Technologie GmbH, Burgkunstadter Str. 3, 95336 Mainleus, Germany
Results: The detailed findings are summarized on pages 4 through 13.

The results apply to the tested filter only at the test conditions mentioned
above. Filtration performance data of related filters of the same design and
media will be similar. Filtration performance under certain application
conditions cannot necessarily be predicted from these data.

According to the classification requirements described in ISO 16890-1 the filter element complies
with the grade ISO ePM10 80% at a nominal air flow of 3400 m³/h (media velocity of 62,0 cm/s).

The net effective filtering area of 1,5 m² was calculated using the following measured
approximate dimensions:

Note: This calculated value can differ from the total used media area as calculated by the
manufacturer of the filter. Also for example small variations in the pleat height can cause some
percental difference.

Effective width of pleats: 584 mm

Effective number of pleats: 29
Pleat height: 45 mm
