The Feasibility and Effectiveness of Using Recycled Plastic Bottles (Polyethylene-

Terephthalate) as Foldable Toilet Bowls to Save Space in Public Restrooms.

Around 400 million tons of plastic bottles since the year of 2021 have been
collected and recycled, according to a Statistical Publisher, Bruna,(2024). Large
production companies use these materials to create new products, such as furniture
and plastic bottles. Many of these bottles are popular products, including Coca-Cola,
Royals, and Sprite. However, not all of them are accumulated for most households (80
%) used one to four disposable plastic bottles every day, while the rest (20 %) used
more than four. Out of 88 respondents, only 10 % sorted plastic bottles from their
garbage. The study also found that the local community’s habits and practices
regarding plastic use and disposal greatly affected the rise of disposable plastic
bottles. By Khoinori & Sudarno,(2019). Since some of them are stored, what exactly
are the other things that can be made of them not just recycled materials? Are there
other products that can be made to help recycling better? Hence that Plastic bottles
are made of polymers, the one of the most used for creating plastics including bottles.

According to Mr. Chorage,(2019). A department of Mechanical Engineer, proper

sanitation of students is time-consuming, because of lines that take a minute to
finish. One of the most thing main problems is that there are few toilets in public
restrooms, defined because of their space of 1.20 sq m for normal, but some are
crowded, and people will wait depending on the number of people that are waiting or
in. With that people are now impatient because of wasting time.

Toilets are made of granite, basalt, slate, and quartzite, depends on the product
that the materials are made. Plastic Bottles (Polyethylene Terephthalate) are made out
of polymers that are sources of plastic which are used to make plastic bottles that can
be recycled to make a recyclable furniture and things. However, there are some issues
with the number of plastic bottles that can be transferred to a toilet, because they are
clear and flexible to model. The number of plastic bottles is to be added and
consolidate the possibility the durability and acceptability of toilets are made.

The Researcher purpose for this study is. Plastic foldable toilets need to be
starting in conducting and placing in public restroom, is because of its environmental
product that is made from composite materials and its lightweight and efficient cost
and it is made of plastic bottles, that can help lessening polymers. In addition it can
be time saving since it can be folded to save the space in the area inside the public
restroom to diminish the line.
