Brian: Hello, welcome to my vlog about eco - friendly transportation. I am Brian
and this is my friend David.
David: Hi everyone!
Brian: David. I hear you recently went on vacation to Japan and got to ride a new
maglev train. Could you tell the audience about the new transportation?
David: Well, Japan is leading the way of new public transportation, called the maglev
train, which uses large magnets to make the train float above the rail.
Brian: Is it comfortable?
David: The train is very comfortable. It feels like riding on air.
Brian: How fast can it go?
David: It can go 400 kilometers per hour faster than the trains we have here, which
only go about 100 kilometers per hour.
Brian: How reliable is it?
David: Very reliable, the train was always on time.
PART B:
MJ: Jimmy, I enjoyed your book report on Wanderlove by Kirsten Hubbard.
J: Thanks. I loved how Bria, the young girl, traveled through South America on a wild
adventure with her friends.
MJ: The story reminded me of the time I got to study
abroad in Brazil. J: I'd like to study in Brazil. How can
I do that?
MJ: If you want to, I can talk with your parents. They will have to sign you up and you will
need to pass a testto get accepted to the school.
J: That sounds great. My parents will be so delighted to hear this news.
MJ: I'm glad you are happy. But remember, you will need to study hard and complete all
your homework, ok. The school only accepts students with good grades.
J: I will. Thanks, Miss Johnson.
