Specific age groups targeted by
Leukemia

young adults, although it can occur in people of any age. It is the most common type of
leukemia in children.

2. Chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL): CLL is more commonly diagnosed in older adults,
typically over the age of 60. It is rare in children and young adults.

3. Acute myeloid leukemia (AML): AML can occur at any age, but it becomes more common as
people get older. The average age of diagnosis is around 65. However, AML can also affect
children and young adults.

4. Chronic myeloid leukemia (CML): CML can occur at any age, but it is more commonly
diagnosed in adults, with the average age of diagnosis being around 60. It is rare in children.
