INTRODUCTION;
LPG (Liquefied petroleum gas) is a form of natural gas which has been liquefied
under extreme pressure and then contained in a metal cylinder. It is very sensitive to fire and can
cause a great disaster if it's exposed to any fire source without precaution. Leaked gas is LPG is
more available than any other natural gas so most people choose LPG for their needs like
cooking and other, but unexpectedly gas leakage is house in blasting of more house, so advanced
gas leakage. Detection and prevention system method of in this project as IOT based on gas
leakage detection and prevention system in household applications.

OBJECTIVE:
In this project mainly purpose of, lpg gas leakage. in sensor fast analyzed in alert for
sound alarm and mobile phone message and ring in call from gas leaked detection of prevention
system.
METHODOLOGY:
1. LPG Natural Gas Sensor (Mq-05):

They are used in gas leakage detecting equipment in family and industry, are suitable
for detecting of LPG, natural gas, town gas, avoid the noise of alcohol and cooking fumes and
cigarette smoke. The MQ-6 can detect gas concentrations anywhere from 200 to 10,000 ppm
2. Arduino;
it is the best choice for IoT projects because its boards are durable and simpler than
others making them easier to maintain and program
LPG Gases Detected:
 Operating Temperature: -20 to +60 deg C. Power Source: Battery. Measuring Range:
0 TO 1000 ppm

EXPECTED OUTCOME:
The gas sensor detects the presence of LPG gas in the environment, and the
microcontroller processes the sensor data to trigger an alarm or shut off the gas supply. The
system can also send an SMS alert to a designated phone number in case of gas leakage.
