Akkor kell Past Continuous-t használnod, amikor a múltban éppen történt valami, azaz akkor éppen
folyamatban volt! Emlékezz csak, hogy mit mondtunk a Present Continuous-ról! Azt mondtuk, hogy
a jelen egy adott pontján vagy szakaszában éppen folyamatban lévő cselekvésre használjuk. A Past
Continuous-ra pontosan ugyanez igaz, azzal a különbséggel, hogy itt az állítás úgy hangzik, hogy „a
múlt egy adott pillanatában vagy szakaszában éppen folyamatban lévő cselekvés leírására
használjuk”.
