 Alex Armijo

Alex was born on November 20th in the Lagos region. He lived with his grandma and his younger
sister, Ana. Alex is very active, so he has tried various sports in his life. His dream was to become a
professional soccer player, so he has worked hard to make it come true.

In 5th grade, Alex met his all-time best friend, Camilo. They joined a soccer team together at
school. Later, Alex enrolled in the Colo-Colo soccer academy, because he was an exceptional
player. He has lived in Santiago ever since. In 8th grade, his dog toby died, so he invented a special
gesture to commemorate Toby. Whenever he scores a goal, he remembers his dog during the
match and dedicates the goal to him.

In addition to his soccer career, Alex is an environmentally friendly person. In 9 th grade, his team
started a project to clean the beaches in the fifth region once a month. He says he has learnt a lot
about eco- friendliness.

Alex is in 10th grade now. I love and admire him because he is preparing to continue with his soccer
career and his love for our planet is enormous…… I am proud to be his friend.
