Quantitative Amino Acids - Mass Kit

Quanttatve Analyss of Amno Acds n Plasma, Urne and CSF Samples

Problems in specific metabolic pathways in the human body cause metabolic disorders. Metabolic disorders are usually
inherited diseases and result from decreased or complete absence of one or more enzymes' activity. These activity
disorders cause some metabolites to accumulate in the body and cause toxic effects, and subsequently, organ failure
and systemic diseases.

Identification of metabolic diseases is carried out by routine newborn screening methods. Permanent damage to
metabolic diseases can be prevented with special diet treatments applied following the diagnosis of metabolic disease.
Continuous monitoring of the plasma concentrations of metabolic products is required to monitor the effectiveness of
the treatment to be administered to patients.

Trimaris Quantitative Amino Acids LC-MS/MS Kit allows quantitative monitoring of free amino acid concentrations in
samples such as plasma, urine and cerebrospinal fluid of patients treated for metabolic diseases. Components such as
calibrator set, reagents and mobile phases required for analysis are provided with the kit.
