Existing designs in Sports Physiotherapy only include physiotherapy designs that

are open to all users, such as consultation rooms, examination rooms, lounges, group
activity rooms, and pools or whirlpools (Middleton, 2022). The spaces mentioned are
typical physiotherapy facilities. All physiotherapy facilities have a warming and bright
feature to make their users feel at ease.

In these photos, you can see how welcoming and warm the facility is. This facility
is a sports clinic in Valencia, Spain that is located in a commercial basement. In my
experience, most clinics and facilities focus on spacing and interiors. Physiotherapy
clinics are available. Another physiotherapy clinic in Spain, LAS ROZAS REHABTIVA,
has been adapted to an old commercial building, with only the interiors changed.

The interiors of Laz Rosas Rehbtiva, a physical therapy facility in Spain, are
shown above. This facility uses a cool ambiance, which is likely to calm all users because
it uses neutral colors. Cool tones can soothe and calm an anxious disposition, but they
can also evoke feelings of sadness and indifference. In our local case study, the National
University of Laguna, INSPIRE Sports Academy, provides services ranging from
recreational rooms to fitness and wellness areas.

In the future, I would describe the proposal as a place for recovering and
rehabilitating athletes, with spaces for sports training and recovery, as well as
rehabilitation and therapy spaces, as the primary users are athletes. It functions
similarly to A Sports Academy and physiotherapy services. This proposal is a hybrid of
recreational and medicinal aspects, or sport medicine. The proposal combines Training,
Recovery, and Physical Therapy to assist users in recovering from an injury and
regaining strength. The Baylor Scotts Sports and Research Center in Dallas, for example.
It is a training facility for athletes where they can participate in their local sports. It
specializes in programs in sports physical therapy that design rehabilitation and care
plans for enhancing workout routines, avoiding sports-related injuries, and adequately
addressing these injuries should they occur. It offers different fields of sports to train
athletes.

Using innovation to aiding physiotherapy like Exoskeleton which is na

technology-based therapy where a wearable device that helps to stand and walk, this
device is a trend to physiotherapy, The device’s computer, positioned on your back,
tunes the exoskeleton’s battery-powered motors to assist moving your legs according to
your therapy goal.

Another Innovation is Augmented Reality, or using Virtual reality, which is also a

wearable device that gather the personal movement of the patient, and then with the
headset on the patient is placed in a game-like environment where we use that data to
personalize the treatment.
