Banksy!

Banksy is a graffiti artist of whom is not identified yet and is

anonymous. He is the only famous graffiti artist that has keepen their
identity a secret from the nation. They live in Bristol which is proven
by where most of his work is produced.

This piece is
called the
“balloon girl”

Banksy created this piece in 2002. Since then it has become one of the
most famous pieces Banksy and any graffiti artist has ever made.if we
analyze the heart it suggests a symbol of activism, its a symbol of
Banksy's famous saying “there is always hope”.

If i were to explain the image to someone who cannot see it i would

say that it's a picture of a girl who looks like shes let go of her heart
balloon by accident and is reaching to grab it. On the other hand it
looks like she may have let it go on purpose in the painting to make it
seem there was a reason for her letting it go.

The picture shows a depressing mood especially of where it was

created in a run down area which makes it looks more depressing
He has done other pieces like this using the same effects and formal
elements.

In evaluation, the balloon girl is a very famous piece which made

people realize who Banksy was and why he creates pieces like this to
pursue a different message to the world in every different art piece
he's ever created.
