BANKSY

Banksy is a street artist who managed to let people change their ideas by
painting graffiti which represent a significant meaning for them.
In this presentation I will explain some of my preferite ertworks from by
Banksy.
This art work of Banksy have been done in Venice.
It represents a young refugee in a life jacket. THE IMMIGRANT CHILDREN
Banksy decided to make this art work in Venice because
when the water level reaise, it seems a refugee which
asks for help. The concept of he asking for help is
represented by the flare because it is an object usually
used to ask for help.
This artwork is done as a protest to the refugees which
come to Italy and are not soccurred.
 FLOWER CHUCKER

This graffiti was done by Banksy in Jerusalem. Banksy has

decided to do this artwork in Jerusalem because the message
he wants to transmit the concept of peace.
This guy was represented with a bandana and a cap in order
to hide his identity. The flowers are represented with this
very bright color whereas the guy is in black and white
because the flowers represent the sense of peace.
The art work is also called «Flower Bomber» because it seems
he is throwing a molotow or a granade but instead he has
some flowers in his hand.
 The Walled off Hotel

Banksy decided to do a lot of his graffiti on the wall of

Berlin because it was a very bad view so he wanted to try
to make it a better place. Obviously he decided to do
some art works which were a protest to this wall. Very
close to this wall there is the hotel which is called «The
Walled off Hotel». In this hotel there are the rooms
painted from Banksy and a lot of other artist, which are
some of the people who usually help him. At a certain
point in the wall there is also an entrance where the
people from the other part of the wall can pass it and
visit the wall to share what they think about the wall.
