It is Time to Think about Dues Payment
Once again, it is time to pay our annual DKG dues.
Active member dues continue to be $82.00 plus any
amount you want to donate toward funding our Grant-In-
Aid. Please send your dues check made out to Zeta
Omega to Diane Moose, our chapter treasurer. Or,
dues can be sent to her via PayPal

Regional Area Workshop 2024
Southeast Regional Workshop - For us, our
Regional Workshop will be held on June 22, 2024
in Cleveland, Texas. It will include areas two,
three, and 18. The venue will be Cleveland High
School, 1600 E. Houston St., Cleveland 77327.
Let’s mark this date on our calendars and plan to attend
together. Just so you know, Ana and Diane will both be presenters at this
event. Early registration is $50.00 and includes lunch. Click here to

State Happenings
The Spring 2024 Lone Star News is packed full of good information! You
may access it here.
For one weekend, women from all over Texas gather at Camp Allen for
fellowship and to try out new creative endeavors. Paint, Mod Podge, nail
polish, washers, pine needles, jars, paint brushes—if it can be thought of,
a STAR teacher will have their classes using it!
Registration for the 2025 STAR (Spectacular Texas Arts Retreat) is now
open and can be accessed on the Forms page of the state website. Mark
your calendar for January 17-19, 2025 at Camp Allen.

Many thanks to Zulema who taught us how to use an
air fryer. She prepared chicken taquitos and rice for
us. Others brought guacalmole, chips, salsa, and
dessert to round out the meal. A great time was had by
all.

Delta Kappa Gamma - Zeta Omega Chapter
The regular meeting of Zeta Omega chapter of Delta Kappa Gamma was called to order by the President, Ana
Gonzalez, Thursday, February 15, 2024 with an icebreaker.

Ana González introduced visiting guest Rosie Gonzales.

Founder’s Day Luncheon will be held at the Golfcrest Country Club, Saturday, May 4, 2024 from 11:00AM to
1:00PM. Registration is $30. Please register by April 15, 2024.

Grant-in-Aid Recipient and parent will be introduced at the Founder’s Day Luncheon.
Our February program “How to Use an Air Fryer” was presented by Zulema Rodriguez.

Zulema showed us how simple it was to make chicken flautas. We enjoyed tasty chicken flauta with rice and
guacamole.

Meeting adjourned at 6PM. The next meeting will be Thursday, May 16, 2024
