JUSTIFICATION

To Whom It May Concern:

As regards the undersigned request for augmentation of additional personnel from the
Municipality of Santa Fe, a verbal request for Two (2) additional personnel was requested to
augment personnel at the Office of the Election Officer, Commission on Elections, Santa Fe,
Cebu due to the SK Registration in compliance with Comelec Resolution 9899 dated September
5, 2014.
Comelec Resolution 9899 adopted Resolution No. 9717 for the registration of Members
of the Katipunan ng Kabataan in connection of February 21, 2015 Election of the Members of
Sangguniang Kabataan setting the SK Voters Registration to September 21-29, 2014.
Considering that,
1. Commission on Elections has only Two (2) personnel in this municipality;
2. Existing One (1) Local Job Order personnel;
3. Existing personnel have current workload regarding reportorial requirement
for submission to the central office;
4. SK Registration has the duration of Ten (10) days, including Saturdays and
Sundays, to wit:
September 21, 2014 – Saturday, Day 1
September 22, 2014 – Sunday, Day 2
September 27, 2014 – Saturday, Day 8
September 21, 2014 – Sunday, Day 9
5. The need for at least Two (2) additional manpower as frontliners to
implement the registration procedures;
6. On top of the regular working days, Comelec office was open 8:00AM to
5:00PM to accommodate SK and regular applicants

During the Ten (10) days registration period, the Commission has registered Three
Hundred Seventy (370) applicants and that the above named local Job Order personnel
effectively and efficiently assisted the Commission on Elections in the SK Registration period.

Hence, this justification.
