This Course is prepared for helping the entry level Fresher & Experience Engineers in the field of Air Conditioning Systems
and also useful for person’s who’s dealing in HVAC product. This Course fills the gap between the Theoretical Study & real
practical design of HVAC systems.

This Course is based upon design calculation and deeply focused upon the design of piping & ducting components.
Lectures cover the selection and specification of components such as fans, coils, filters, pumps, chillers, cooling towers,
water heaters, terminal devices and air outlets.

Study the design of air and water distribution systems with consideration for first cost, energy costs and other practical
matters such as space, losses and maintenance.

CHANG CHOO KHEAN

Master in Engineering Management (University Putra Malaysia)
Degree in Mechanical and Material Engineering (UKM)
Member of ASHRAE

Mr. Chang Choo Khean received his Degree in Mechanical and Material Engineering from National University of
Malaysia and Master in Engineering Management from University Putra Malaysia. Currently he is proceeding with
his PhD in Mechanical Engineering with Universiti Malaya. He also a member of American Society of Heating,
Refrigerating, and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE), Chartered Institute Of Building Service Engineer (CIBSE),
The Board Of Engineers, Malaysia (BEM) and Malaysian Society of Engineering Technologist (MSET).

Chang Choo Khean has over 20 years of experience in Mechanical Engineering especially in Heating, Ventilating
and Air Conditioning (HVAC) system. He began his career at Topaire Sales & Services Sdn Bhd as Service Engineer
on early of 1996. He then continued his career at Sunline Services Centre Sdn Bhd as a Service Engineer, during
that period, his involved in testing and commissioning mechanical equipment until 2005.

In 2006, he changed his career from industry field to education line by joining a local University . Subject involved
were Ducting & piping network, Aerolics, Study of Air-conditioning equipments, Transport Air conditioning, Fluid
Mechanic, Refrigeration fluids and food preservation and air conditioning system.
