RICHARD MARIAN
Master of Occupational Safety & Health Management (UUM),
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechatronics Engineering (University Of Wolverhampton, United Kingdom),
Advanced Diploma in Computer Applications in Electrical Engineering (Ngee Ann Polytechnic of Singapore),
Diploma in Electrical & Electronics Engineering (Institute Technology Jaya, KL)

The Trainer has received first Diploma in Electrical & Electronics Engineering at Institute Technology Jaya, KL in
1988. Then, he continued the study at City & Guilds of London Institute, United Kingdom in Full Technological
Certificate on 1989. After that, he received the Advanced Diploma in Computer Applications in Electrical
Engineering at Ngee Ann Polytechnic of Singapore, 1992. Then, Bachelor’s Degree in Mechatronics Engineering at
University Of Wolverhampton, United Kingdom on 2004 and now Master in Occupational Safety & Health
Management at Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM) in 2018.

He began his career as Engineering Specialist (Reporting To Equipment Manager) at Seagate Technology Inc. He
in charge to Perform setup, install, calibrate and maintain the automated clean room Disk Drive equipments. After
that, he worked at Chartered Semiconductor Manufacturing Ltd as Sr. Associate Engineer (Reporting To
Department Manager Process And Equipment Engineering). He Lead a team of Associate Engineers/Technicians
and production staffs. Next, in year 2005 until 2009 he worked at Infineon Technologies Kulim Malaysia Sendirian
Berhad as Sr. Engineer (Reporting To Sr. Manager) for Prepared TPM checklist, Recovery procedures,
Troubleshooting procedures and guide to enhance Junior Engineers and Technicians confidence.

In 2009 until 2014, he worked at Benkert Malaysia Sendirian Berhad as Engineering Manager (Reporting To
General Manager). He has good knowledge in GMP, HACCP, Lean Manufacturing, Safety and ISO. Then, he moved
at Aluminium Company Malaysia (ALCOM) on 2014 until 2015 as a Head Of Engineering, Reliability & Facilities
Manager (Reporting To Plant Manager). After that, he serve as Head Of Engineering, Maintenance & Facilities
Manager (Reporting To Plant Manager) at Rockwool Malaysia Sendirian Berhad. He Perform overall Engineering
activities: Plant Equipment maintenance, Facilities Equipment Maintenance, Building Maintenance, Environmental,
Fire Fighting Safety Equipment, contractors risk assessment (JSA), establish Safety regulations compliance and
contractor management. In 2016 until 2018, he is Site Manager - Hse & Operation & Maintenance Manager
(Reporting To Owner) at Petronas Sub-Contractor Company, (Subsidiary of Bagan Cipta S/B. This scope job is
Monitoring on the maintenance cost and budget and Coordinate housekeeping strategies on workshop and site.
Beside that, he is Head Of Engineering, Maintenance & Facilities Manager (Reporting To General Manager) at
Marco Plastic Sdn Bhd. Perform overall Engineering activities: Plant Equipment maintenance, Facilities Equipment
Maintenance, Building Maintenance, Environmental, Fire Fighting Safety Equipment, equipment shutdown &
turnaround activities, contractors risk assessment (JSA), establish Safety regulations compliance, Gemba Walk,
Near Misses and safety management.

Now, he is Trainer & Consultant & Facilitator Part Time Lecturer since 2019. His best achievement is Successful
Wafer FAB startup & Technology Transfer. 8 months training in Germany and 1 month in USA to prepare for the
Technology Transfer. Finger prints for Engineers & Technicians and jigs & fixtures modifications at Infineon
Technologies Kulim in 2005 until 2009. Beside that, Successful Ink Plant startup & Engineering workshop at
Benkert Malaysia Sdn Bhd in 2009 until 2014.
