As all lights are off and each one is in complete silence and set for the start:
Torchman A (In a very loud voice) In the beginning, the world was dark and empty. The spirit of
GOD was hovering around. The same GOD / before / now and forever, gave man a fire, fire, fire
……….(at this moment he lights up his torch or candle and raise it higher and continue with his
thoughts)
THIS LIGHT IS A SYMBOL OF RIGHTEOUSNESS, HE WHO LIGHTS FROM
THIS IS A PART OF THE SCOUTING WORLD. (From above he brings the light
down to his shoulder level in his front)
Torchman B (Smartly moves towards torchman A to light his torch or candle and smartly returns
to his post and with a lighted candle on his left hand raised and with his right hand in scout sign, in
a loud voice …)
THIS LIGHT REPRESENTS THE FIRST POINT OF THE SCOUT OATH:
ON MY HONOR, I WILL DO MY BEST, TO DO MY DUTY, TO GOD AND
MY COUNTRY, THE REPUBLIC OF THE PHILIPPINES AND TO OBEY THE
SCOUT LAW. (Brings the lighted candle to his shoulder level)
Torchman C Smartly moves towards torchman B to light his torch or candle and smartly returns
to his post and with a lighted candle on his left hand raised and with his right hand in scout sign, in
a loud voice …)
THIS LIGHT REPRESENTS THE SECOND POINT OF THE SCOUT OATH:
ON MY HONOR/ I WILL DO MY BEST/ TO HELP OTHER PEOPLE AT ALL
TIMES.
Torchman D Smartly moves towards torchman C to light his torch or candle and smartly returns
to his post and with a lighted candle on his left hand raised and with his right hand in scout sign, in
a loud voice …)
THIS LIGHT REPRESENTS THE THIRD POINT OF THE SCOUT OATH:
ON MY HONOR/ I WILL DO MY BEST/ TO KEEP MYSELF PHYSICALLY
STRONG MENTALLY AWAKE AND MORALLY STRAIGHT
(Immediately, all the Torchmen simultaneously and smartly move towards the firelay and put their
lighted candles into the tepee then go back to join their individual unit.)
Campfire’s burning 2x draw nearer 2x All things shall perish from under the sun
In the glooming 2x come sing & be merry Music alone shall live never shall die
(Immediately after the round song, the MC kneels the CC to present the scroll (presumably con-
taining the program and in a very loud voice …)
MC OH! GREAT CAMPFIRE CHIEF / THIS IS THE SCROLL FOR TONIGHT”S
CAMPFIRE PROGRAM.
(The CC opens the scroll and presumably reads it and in a loud voice …)
CC THIS IS A NICE PROGRAM. HOWEVER / I WILL STOP ANY PRESENTA-
TION TENDING TO DISHONOR ANYBODY OR GOVERNMENT OR NON-
NON-GOVERNMENT ORGANIZATIONS / SO TAKE THIS AND PROCEED
WITH THE PROGRAM.
(The MC receives back the scroll and starts the program. You can insert any icebreaker
or energizer must be spontaneous to avoid any dull moment up to the last part.)
CC Minutes (Basic talking part by the CC which could be comments about some peculiar
presentations or about significance of campfire in scouting.)
