NOTIFICATION FOR

NAVODAYA COE SELECTION TEST (NCST) 2024

The NCST is scheduled to be held on March 29, 2024

Dakshana is conducting the NCST which is common for the selection of students for all Navodaya Centre of Excellence (COE)
associated with three knowledge partners i.e., Dakshana Foundation, Ex-Navodaya Foundation, and Avanti Foundation.
Selection Process for the NCST 2024:
Step 1: Students will be invited for the NCST 2024 based on Class 10 Term 1 results, which will be released by January 19, 2024.
Step 2: Invited students must complete the Scholar Application by February 10, 2024. Preference for the knowledge partner to be given in the
application form.
Step 3: After filling out the application form, invited students can appear for mock tests. Mock tests will familiarize students with the interface.
Step 4: Invited students with Admit Cards to appear for NCST 2024 (online at test centers) with their mobile phones on March 29, 2024.
Step 5: Students selected in the NCST 2024 exam will be offered free JEE/NEET coaching scholarships at COE.

Filling of Scholar application form:

To appear for the Mock test & NCST 2024 invited students must fill out and submit the scholar application form at http://scholarship.dakshana.org/. Read
the instruction document before filling out the form.

All online tests will be conducted through the Dakshana Scholarship Test Android Mobile App. Download the mobile app from the google play store.

Log in to the mobile app & the mock test can appear only after completing Step 2 i.e. After submitting Dakshana Scholar Application (DSA)

Mock Test & NCST 2024 Format:

The duration of the tests will be 3-hrs. The test will consist of 25 MCQ format questions in each of the following sections:
Section 1: Logical Reasoning | Section 2: Mathematics/Biology | Section 3: Physics | Section 4: Chemistry
Each right answer is awarded 3 marks, and 1 mark is deducted for every wrong answer. Engineering Aspirants to attempt Mathematics and Medical
aspirants to attempt Biology. A candidate is required to attain positive marks in each subject.

Special Note for the NEET aspirants from the following states: Assam, Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu, Delhi, Gujarat, Jammu and Kashmir,
Rajasthan, Uttarakhand. If you are selected for JNV Pune CoE, you will remain eligible only for AIIMS, 15% All India Quota seats in GMC, and Open seats.
And will not be eligible for 85% Home state quota because your Class-XII passing state will change to Maharashtra. So, you MUST check the eligibility
criteria and rethink your decision for JEE/NEET Coaching.
