1. What is contemporary theory in psychology?
The contemporary theory in psychology refers to the current perspective, ideas,
and framework that mold our understanding of physical and mental/critical
thinking. These theory focuses on exploring topics like emotions, motivation,
learning, personality, social interaction. It helps the researchers to gain insights
to develop effective interventions for psychological issues.

2. How does learning theories affect teaching?


We know that the learning theories play a crucial role in shaping our learners.
By understanding the students learns by processing information, educators can
custom their teaching/approaches. For example, teacher must have an active
learning so the learners active in engaging to the lesson also confidence been
improving and it develops their critical thinking skills.

3. How can learning theories be related to teaching and learning practice?


Learning theories provide a foundation for understanding how people learn and
process information, which can be applied to teaching and learning practices.
By incorporating learning theories into instructional strategies, educators can
design effective learning experiences that cater to the needs of diverse learners.
This allows teachers to create engaging environments, facilitate meaningful
interactions, and promote deep understanding of the subject matter.

1. Signal Learning – the teaching is pointing out the trashes under the desk to
dispose it and the student do what the teacher tells them.
2. Stimulus Response Learning – the student greets her/his teacher a
valentine’s day with certain gift.

4. Verbal Learning – the students preparing and memorizing to their speech
contest.
