Mathematics in the Modern World

In 200 words, write the similarities and differences between the English and Mathematics
languages. Cite your own examples or illustrations.

- English is an international language that allows people from all over the world to
communicate for a variety of purposes. Mathematics is a mathematical language, but it is
also a language used for communication and explaining various circumstances in daily life.
These two languages have a few similarities that brings them together for example A
speaker must be able to listen and speak, a mathematician must be able to understand
other’s math works and solve problems. solving math problems is higher than understanding
math while speaking is higher skill than listening. Even though both can be learn by
practicing repetetively their brain must first attribute the meaning or value of the elements
of either in order to build a learning pattern because both of them follows strict laws. They
are both made from parts. Language made up of words and math made up of axioms and
theorems. Knowing all the words’ meaning and pronunciations don’t make you a speaker
while learning all the axioms and theorems don’t make you a mathematician because both
are a system. You must learn and review examples ,movies’ dialogues and etc. For math you
must review and learn axioms and theorems through problems.

The difference between them, Math is learned under assumptions of perfection that requires
logical thinking whereas, language is learned under assumptions of reality and is largely
artistic. There is only one solution (or specific set of solutions) to every math problem. On the
other hand, there are at least 100 different ways to express the same idea using language.
