Hydrotest for O-Ring Joint Testing is conducted with the aim to find the leak and the strength of operational pressure both at the joint and the overall installation. After visually checking the results, then followed by using a pressure tester testing. Procedure Process Including a Pressure Test ~ Holes in the screw joint first - Fill with water until it fully through the holes that have been available - Nipple input on that hole in the screw and plug, - Tighten the nut with pass key so as not to leak. ~ Pressure tester pumped from 0 up to 3 bar, hold 10 minute - Check visual, whether there is leakage. ~ Add pressure until 6.5 bar and hold during 30 minute - Check visual and make sure there is no leakage and decrease pressure on the gauge pressure, - Lower the pressure until 0 again with open drain on the pressure tester. - Noted the results of testing. ‘After all piping is complete plug and pressure test will be returned as the end of the entire series checking and testing. Testing is done by filling the water up to full installation with the ‘water pump pipe. Further providing pressure to move or less the same as the pressure test joint. 4.4, Lowering Pipe If lowering has been done mechanically (using equipment/ tool) so the Nylon sling has to use, and not permit using Wire Sling because FRP were fragile and cracked materials. Before lowering, you must making sure that pipe body totally be supported on sand bag and sand layer and clean from all foreign (sharp/ hard) possible material such as : stone, concreted, block, etc, which find it into excavating work. Lift down the pipe slowly and carefully, into clean hole (free from hard stone materials).
