1. What do you understand by the term “emergency services”? Emergency services" refer to the
various professional services that are dedicated to providing immediate assistance and care during
emergencies, such as medical emergencies, natural disasters, accidents, and other critical situations.
2. What type of jobs do they include?
Include jobs such as paramedics, firefighters, police officers, emergency medical technicians,
emergency dispatchers, search and rescue personnel, and other first responders.
3. What qualities do people need to do these jobs?
People working in emergency services typically need to possess qualities such as courage,
compassion, quick thinking, physical and mental resilience, adaptability, excellent communication
skills, and the ability to work well under pressure.
4. Why do you think they choose to do them?
Those who choose to work in emergency services often do so because they have a strong desire to
help others in times of crisis. They may have a deep sense of duty and a commitment to public
service, along with a passion for making a positive impact in their communities.

As a dental assistant I have the opportunity to interact with many people. People who come to
the clinic notice my kindness and that makes a difference. The work is somewhat exhausting,
but I like to see the patient satisfied with my work.

customers. It’s not always easy to get things jus right, but when you succeed it’s really rewarding.
