What is lead

Class Objective- Playing lead guitar.

Title : Practising some patterns on C major scale.


Objective : Improving your hold over C major scale and making your hands
more flexible.

Concept A : what is lead?

I. When a piece of music is played on different strings individually it is


called lead.
II. Playing the lyrics of a song or a tune is also called lead.

Concept B : 3 - Note pattern

I. Notes of C major will be played in groups of three .


II. The time signature is 3/4.
III. Avoid making mistakes in using the correct finger on the correct fret.

I. Notes of C major will be played in groups of 4 notes .


II. Time signature is 4/4.
