Supervisor OHS Training – Participation Activity

Completion of the Ontario Ministry of Labour "Supervisor Health and Safety Awareness
in 5 Steps”, as proven by a Certificate downloaded at the end of your training, will
provide you a valuable insight into the real world of being responsible for the safety of
others. You should retain this certificate, as it is a requirement for employers to provide
this training (or Worker Safety Awareness training in 4-Steps) to all their employees in
Ontario.

Clicking on the URL posted here in Session 10, or copying and pasting it into your
browser, will take you directly to the home page for the supervisor training.

The training will take you about 30 - 45 minutes.

If you stop at any time, you will have to do the whole thing over again, as the system
has no memory of your participation. Also, when you take it, be sure you have access to
a printer, or that you can save the PDF certificate on your computer or smart phone for
printing or e-mailing, as again the system has no memory of you after completion.

Sounds complicated but it's not. There are Two simple steps:
- Go online and take the training
- Save a copy of your certificate (to your smart phone, tablet or laptop), in your
name, and upload it in Session 10 before the published due date and time.

PS: If you have a certificate on hand from previously taking this on-line training (or the
4-Step Worker certificate) at your place of work, you don't have to take the course
again. Just upload that certificate.
