Subject: Recruitment of Constable (GD) in Central Armed Police Forces
(CAPFs), SSF, Rifleman (GD) in Assam Rifles and Sepoy in Narcotics
Control Bureau Examination, 2022 - Declaration of the revised final
result for the State of Manipur.

The final result of Constable (GD) in Central Armed Police Forces

(CAPFs), SSF, Rifleman (GD) in Assam Rifles and Sepoy in Narcotics Control
Bureau Examination, 2022 was declared by the Commission on 20.08.2023
for all States / UTs except for the State of Manipur. The final result dated
20.08.2023 was processed for 49590 vacancies (except 597 vacancies for the
State of Manipur) wherein 45217 candidates (40229 Male & 4988 Female)
were provisionally recommended for appointment whereas the candidature of
1337 candidates was kept withheld.

2. At the time of declaration of the said final result of the aforesaid

examination, the physical and medical tests could not be conducted due to the
law and order situation in Manipur. Therefore, the result for the State of
Manipur for 597 vacancies could not be declared on 20.08.2023.

3. Subsequently, the final result for the State of Manipur was declared on
the website of the Commission on 15.03.2024.

4. The Physical and Medical Tests in respect of the candidates belonging to

Manipur had been conducted in multiple phases due to the law and order
situation in the State. While processing the result dated 15.03.2024, the data
pertaining to one phase was inadvertently missed out.

5. Accordingly, the final result declared on 15.03.2024 for the State of

Manipur was withdrawn vide the Commission's Notice dated 18.03.2024.
Based on a comprehensive review of the complete data, the discrepancy has
been rectified and changes have been effected in the result declared on
15.03.2024.

6. The PET/PST of the candidates from the State of Manipur was

conducted by the CAPFs from 01.05.2023 to 03.05.2023 and 01.11.2023 to
06.11.2023. In addition, candidates hailing from Manipur, who appeared in
CBE and PET/PST from examination centres of other States, were also
qualified in the PET/PST. The Document Verification (DV)/ Detailed Medical
Examination (DME)/ Review Medical Examination (RME) of the shortlisted
candidates from the State of Manipur was conducted by the CAPFs from
29.01.2024 to 10.02.2024.

7. A total of 597 vacancies for the state of Manipur have been considered
for allocation to the following forces: -
i. A: BSF (Border Security Force)
ii. B: CISF (Central Industrial Security Force)
iii. C: CRPF (Central Reserve Police Force)
iv. D: SSB (Sashastra Seema Bal)
v. E: ITBP (Indo-Tibetan Border Police)
vi. F: AR (Assam Rifles)
vii. G: NCB (Narcotics Control Bureau)
viii. H: SSF (Secretariat Security Force)

8. Keeping the above in view, the category-wise (0-EWS, 1-SC, 2-ST, 3-

ESM, 6-OBC and 9-UR) break-up of the candidates provisionally selected
from the State of Manipur is as follows: -

10. The results of two candidates bearing Roll No. 5502003660 and
2201198830 have been kept withheld.

11. Other terms and conditions as mentioned in the final result dated
20.08.2023 will remain the same.

12. Detailed marks of the qualified / non-qualified candidates for the State of
Manipur will be made available on the website of the Commission shortly.
