Chapter I
Introduction and Its Background
Introduction
Background Research
Clouds Cafe is a coffee shop with unique styles and designs. This coffee shop had some
unusual styles and designs from top to bottom. In the beginning, having a creative seesaw from
the hallway to having a dining area from the top of the building. Its commitment to unique
aesthetics and ambiance makes it a standout destination for coffee lovers and design enthusiasts.
Moreover, the Clouds Cafe is located at 201 Pacheco Cor. Osmeña St. Tondo, Manila.
The owner of the cafe is Edzel Cubarubias. The data we collected is based on our interview with
their staff about their history in the store. The owner and his sister both dreamed of owning a
coffee shop. The staff shared with us that the owners got a chance to start something new, so they
chose to open Clouds Cafe. It seems like they wanted to create a cool place for people to enjoy
good coffee and have a nice time.
In Addition to this, once you come in, you'll see colorful artwork on the walls and comfy
seats that make you want to stay a while. The Cloud's Cafe redefines the modern coffee shop
experience with its innovative designs, commitment to unique aesthetics, and ambiance making it
a standout destination for both coffee lovers and design enthusiasts. The vibrant artwork and
comfortable seating create an inviting atmosphere that encourages guests to linger. Whether

webpage. The format is imperative for aesthetics and client inclination, impacted by

A Novel Web Page Layout Aesthetic Evaluation Model for Quantifying Web Page
Layout Design
As stated by Hongyan Wan, Wanting Ji, Gouqing Wu et al. (2021) It is commonly
acknowledged that user preferences, initial impressions, satisfaction, usefulness, usability,
performance, and other factors can all be influenced by a website's aesthetics. Layout aesthetics is
a significant component that has drawn a lot of attention when it comes to homepage aesthetics.
Nevertheless, the majority of the research that has already been done on webpage layout has
focused on the layout as a whole, ignoring the specifics of the webpage layout, including where
to arrange each element.
Synthesis
To summarize, a website that is easy to access and understand will benefit a wide range
of users or customers. Surendra N. Singh, Nikunj Dalal, & Nancy Spears (2005) state that an
organization's home page serves as the entry point to its website. To create Web pages that
effectively engage users, it is essential to comprehend the basic factors that influence how users
perceive websites. In addition to needing to comprehend the mindset of potential users, designers
are also faced with an overwhelming array of options, such as multiple font styles, images, and
graphics, which can all be arranged in various ways on a page, adding to the difficulty of the
design process.

As attested by Rashi Maheshwari (2023), In the long run, your store will profit from
growing its consumer base and reputation simultaneously. To make sure that the customer is
satisfied with the outcome, it's also critical to pay attention to the visual, functional, usability, and
quality aspects of your website. Using a website/web page to place an order is a practical and
time-saving method that can be done anywhere—at home, at work, or anywhere else—around the
clock. Without having to go to the store to buy something, you can choose the item of your
choosing.
