Job Responsibilities
 Monitor Data Center 24×7 Operations and installation of all Equipment within Data center.
 Responsible for Level-1 support to Multinet Data center activities.
 Approval of Planned Activity Requests (PAR) with respect to its nature (Service effecting or Non-
Service effecting).
 Provisioning and ensuring the Proper functioning of Power sources (AC/DC), Fire
Suppression Systems (FSS), VESDA, UPS, Gensets, HVACs, Air Purifiers,
Humidifiers, CRACs.
 Responsible for All the AC and DC Power issues with in the Data center.
 Supervising Preventative Maintenance of Air-cons, FSS, Gensets and UPS.
 Regularly Auditing the Power consumption and Continuous Monitoring of power issues in the
Network.
 Laying of Power Cables, Fiber Cables & Ethernet Cables for Data Center according to TIA-942
Standards.
 Providing power feeds, earth, groundings and internet connectivity to the installed racks.
 Maintaining backup of Access Control System, CCTV recordings and Environmental Control
System.
 Mounting & Dismantling of Telecom & IT equipment (including SDH, ODF, Servers, SANs,
Firewalls, Switches& Router).
 Aligning contractors & and vendors for faults & emergency queries.
 Sharing RFO for any DC mishap.
 Ensuring the Data Center SOP’s are followed in day to day operations.
 Generating daily Data Center Status Reports & Shifting Reports in timely manners.
 Generating Trouble Tickets for any operational related issues.

Job Responsibilities

 As a Site Engineer my prime responsibility was to look after Power, Cooling and Environmental
system and make sure that the all the critical systems Up and running 24x7.

 Primary Role Facility Operation and Maintenance.

 Supervising all the corrective and preventive maintenance activities by the vendor and collaborating
with the teams in performing assessment and escalation of requirements for Data Centre expansion
and upgradation.

 Verifying and monitoring the operation integrity of all power infrastructure, UPS, and air conditioning
units, installation and commissioning of rectifiers, inverters, ups, distribution boards, fire
suppression system, CCTV, access control system, and carry preventative and regular
maintenance services without any disruption to Data Center operations.

 Performing electrical and cooling load management to ensure proper Data Center operating
environment is maintained and obtaining power usage effectiveness (PUE).

 Maintaining inventory management, asset tagging. Along with conducting consensus for process
improvements and best practices.
