We have decided to save energy at home and now we do things differently.

First of all, we never use the 1 microwave oven / light bulb anymore. Instead,
we cook with our gas oven which uses very little electricity. We also turn off
the lights that we aren’t using, and unplug all our devices. This saves 2 oil /
electricity, too. Mom only uses the 3 blender / washing machine when there
are a lot of clothes to wash or when we have 4 burnt / run out of clothes! We
also use rechargeable 5 hair dryers / batteries. They last a long time and we
can recycle them, too. We switch off the 6 mouse / WiFi when we don’t need
it and 7 save / charge our devices once a day only. Dad has also put

wind power / solar panels on our roof so we use more energy from the
sun. I hope that everybody uses alternative energy one day so we become a
greener planet.
