Beowulf

Beowulf is an adventure film. It is based on an old English myth. It is about a brave warrior
called Beowulf. The film begins with a huge monster called Grendel attacking the king’s
house. Beowulf wants to help the king, so he finds Grendel and breaks its arms. Grendel’s
mother is very angry with Beowulf and wants to kill him. But Beowulf kills her with a heavy
sword. Beowulf becomes the king and rules for many years. But one day, a dragon starts
destroying houses in Beowulf’s land. Beowulf is not afraid of the dragon and decides to take
up his sword for one final battle.
Beowulf is a very exciting film. It has lots of action and the special effects are great. You think
that the dragons and other mythical creatures will jump out of the screen and start running
after you! The acting is very good, too. Ray Winstone plays Beowulf and it also stars
Angelina Jolie as Grendel’s mother. It’s a brilliant film.
