Small Doraemon

This Doraemon is about 15cm with worsted weight yarn and 3mm hook.

Materials you will need:

Yarn in: white, blue, red and yellow.
Stuffing.
Embroider thread in black and white.
Black felt.
A small bell to put inside that crocheted bell if you prefer some fun sounds ^_^

Head:
*With white*
1. 6sc in the magic ring [6]
2. inc around [12]
3. 1sc, 1inc [18]
4. 2sc, 1inc [24]
5. sc around [24]
6. 3sc, 1inc [30]
*change to blue*
7. 4sc, 1inc [36]
8. 15sc, 10hdc, 11sc [36]
9. sc around for 5 rows [36]
10. 4sc, 1dec [30]
11. 3sc, 1dec [24]
12. 2sc, 1dec [18]
13. 1sc, 1dec [12]
14. dec around [6]
F/O. Leave a long tail to sew up the gap.

Legs + body:
*With white*
1. 6sc in the magic ring [6]
2. inc around [12]
3. 3sc, 1inc [15]
4. 4sc , 1dec, 1sc, 2dec, 4sc [12]
*change to blue*
5. 4sc, 1dec [10]
6. sc around [10]
7. 4sc, 1inc [12]
F/O. Leave a long tail and cut the yarn.
REPEAT THE SAME PROCESS FOR THE SECOND LEG BUT DO NOT CUT YARN.
Crochet 3sc and join the 2nd st from the last, sc around [24]
8. sc around for 4 rows [24]
9. 6sc, 1dec [21]
10. 5sc, 1dec [18]
11. sc around [18]
Belly
*With white*
1. 6sc in magic ring
2. inc around [12]
3. 1sc, 1inc [18]
4. (2sc, 1inc)x3 [21]
F/O. Leave a long tail to sew on the body.

Arms
*With white*
1. 5sc in the magic ring [5]
2. inc around [10]
3. sc around [10]
4. 2sc, 1dec [8]
*Change to blue*
5. sc around for 5 rows [8]
F/O. Leave long tails to sew on the body.

Collar
*With red*
Crochet surface slst around the neck.

Bell
*With yellow*
1. 4sc in the magic ring [4]
2. inc around [8]
3. sc around [8]
4. dec around [4]
F/O. Leave a long tail to sew.
Optional: hide a small bell inside instead of stuffing to make it jingle >_<

Eyes
*With white*
1. Ch4
2. Starting from 2nd ch from the hook, 2sc, 1inc in the last st
Turn your piece and work on the other side, 2sc, 1inc in the last. It should form something like a rim
afterward. [8]
3. 1inc, 1sc, (1sc, 1inc)x3 [12]
F/O. Leave long tails to sew onto the head.

Nose:
*With red*
1. 7sc in the magic ring [7]
F/O. Leave a long tail to sew.
You can make increase or change the number of stitches in the MR to suit your preference.

Tail
*With red*
1. 5sc in the magic ring [5]
2. inc around [10]
3. sc around for 2 rows [10]
4. dec around [5]
F/O. Leave a long tail to sew.

ASSEMBLING ALL THE PARTS

For face: after sewing on the eyes and nose, cut out 2 pieces of tiny ovals from black felt for the
eyes (they should fit Doraemon’s face properly). Then use white thread to embroider on the
pupil of the eyes.
After that, use black thread to embroider on his mouth and whiskers.
