Thank you for downloading my Prefix Presents Tab-Its Booklet. I
hope you enjoy implementing it in your classroom.

My Grammar Tab-Its are easy to implement either in a whole group

setting or during your small intervention groups. After you introduce
the grammar skill you are working on, have the students apply their
knowledge within these mini-booklets. When they are completed, have
the students adhere them into their Interactive Notebooks!

If you are planning to do this activity as a whole group, I would meet

the students on the carpet and SHOW them a completed booklet and
an incomplete booklet. This gives your students a frame of reference
as to what the final product will look like.

Every grammar skill that I introduce to my students, begins with a

read-aloud on the specific skill. After I read the mentor text, I
always create some type of anchor chart with the help of my
students.
