Week 3-4: Reading

Day 1-3: Learn strategies for skimming, scanning, and understanding different
question types (True/False/Not Given, Matching Headings, etc.).
Day 4-5: Practice reading passages from various sources (academic journals,
newspapers, etc.) and answering questions.
Day 6-7: Take full-length reading practice tests under timed conditions.
Month 2: Skill Refinement

Week 1-2: Writing Task 1

Day 1-3: Understand the format and requirements of Task 1 (describing graphs,
tables, charts, etc.).
Day 4-5: Analyze sample Task 1 responses and identify key features.
Day 6-7: Practice writing Task 1 responses and receive feedback from a tutor or
peer.
Week 3-4: Writing Task 2
Day 1-3: Learn how to structure Task 2 essays (introduction, body paragraphs,
conclusion) and develop arguments.
Day 4-5: Practice writing essays on various topics and focus on coherence,
cohesion, and vocabulary.
Day 6-7: Review your essays, identify areas for improvement, and seek feedback.
Month 3: Practice and Mastery

Week 1-2: Speaking Part 1

Day 1-3: Understand the types of questions asked in Part 1 (personal questions,
hobbies, etc.) and practice answering them fluently.
Day 4-5: Record yourself answering Part 1 questions and evaluate your fluency,
coherence, and pronunciation.
Day 6-7: Participate in mock speaking sessions with a tutor or study partner and
receive feedback.
Week 3-4: Speaking Part 2 & 3

Day 1-3: Learn how to structure Part 2 speeches (introduction, main points,
conclusion) and practice speaking on various topics.
Day 4-5: Practice answering Part 3 follow-up questions and learn to express
opinions and justify them.
Day 6-7: Engage in mock speaking tests covering both Part 2 and Part 3, focusing
on fluency, coherence, vocabulary, and grammar.
Final Week: Review and Simulated Tests

Day 1-3: Review all four sections of the exam and identify any weak areas that
need further attention.
Day 4-5: Take full-length simulated practice tests under exam conditions to
simulate the real test experience.
Day 6-7: Review your performance on practice tests, identify areas for
improvement, and make final adjustments to your strategies.

Speaking
Week 1: Familiarization and Basics

Day 1: Introduction to Speaking Section

Familiarize yourself with the structure of the Speaking section (3 parts) and
understand the assessment criteria.
Watch sample Speaking test videos to get an idea of the test format.
Practice speaking about familiar topics for 2 minutes to warm up.
Day 2: Speaking Part 1

Understand the types of questions asked in Part 1 (personal questions, daily


routines, hobbies, etc.).
Practice answering common Part 1 questions related to yourself, your family,
work/study, hobbies, and interests.
Focus on fluency, coherence, and pronunciation.
Day 3: Speaking Part 2

Learn about the format of Part 2 (1-minute preparation, 2-minute speech).


Practice speaking on various Part 2 topics (e.g., describe a person, describe a place,
describe an event) within the time limit.
Focus on organizing your thoughts, using descriptive language, and maintaining
fluency.
Day 4: Speaking Part 3
Understand the nature of Part 3 questions (discussion-based, requiring opinions
and justification).
Practice answering Part 3 follow-up questions related to Part 2 topics.
Focus on expressing opinions, providing examples, and developing arguments
coherently.
Day 5: Review and Practice

Review your performance from the previous days.


Practice a full Speaking test, including all three parts, under timed conditions.
Record your responses and evaluate them based on fluency, coherence,
pronunciation, vocabulary, and grammar.
Week 2: Refinement and Practice

Day 6: Pronunciation Practice

Focus on improving pronunciation by practicing difficult sounds and intonation


patterns.
Use online resources or pronunciation apps for targeted practice.
Record yourself reading passages or sentences and compare your pronunciation
with native speakers.
Day 7: Vocabulary Expansion

Learn and review vocabulary related to common IELTS topics (education,


technology, environment, etc.).
Create flashcards or use vocabulary apps to memorize new words and phrases.
Practice using the new vocabulary in sentences or short speeches.
Week 3: Mock Tests and Feedback

Day 8-12: Mock Speaking Tests

Schedule mock Speaking tests with a tutor, language exchange partner, or online
speaking practice platform.
Take turns being the examiner and the test-taker.
Receive feedback on your performance and areas for improvement after each mock
test.
Week 4: Final Preparation

Day 13-16: Targeted Practice

Focus on areas of weakness identified during mock tests (e.g., fluency, coherence,
vocabulary).
Practice specific strategies to improve your performance, such as using linking
words, paraphrasing, and extending your answers.
Day 17-20: Simulated Tests

Take full-length simulated Speaking tests under exam conditions.


Record your responses and assess them using the IELTS Speaking band
descriptors.
Identify any remaining weaknesses and work on improving them.
Day 21: Review and Relaxation

Review all aspects of your Speaking preparation and make final adjustments.
Take some time to relax and avoid excessive stress before the actual exam.
