Description: The aim of this project is to migrate the existing business objects reports which are in 6.1B to business objects
XIR2.

Role: Team Lead

Description: The aim of this project is to migrate the existing Crystal reports from version 8.5 to 9. The back-end for earlier
reports was PIP files. The project involved migrating the back-end from PIP files to a RDBMS (Sybase) and writing SQL
queries/stored procedures to support the existing business logic.

There are different modules in which we are working for the maintenance of the report. These are below given :

2. MSIM DART Reporting

Brief – Develop set of new reports in Web Intelligence. These reports are related to Institutional Funds. It provides details,
about the funds like Managers, Net asset, top ten holdings, portfolio construction.

3. Info Desktop Migration Project and PM Reports. 13th,October,2005 to 31st August,2006


Role: Team Lead

Description : This is totally the migration of old version of crystal report (7.5) to the new version crystal report XI and
upload the reports in CMC development.
We run the report from old server and download the report in local machine and take the output according to the insatnce
created for each report.Then open, the report in crystal Report XI and macthed the output with the same parameter value.If
the output is in Excel then we macthed cell be cell value and position.

Total number of reports were 310.

4. ORI(Operational Risk) Reporting 1st,September,2006 to 12th Dec,2006


Role: To Design the template, upload to the CMC and tested it
according to technical specification given by client. Position: Developer

Description: The reports are developed in Crystal Reports XI and hosted on the Enterprise Business Intelligence Reporting
(EBIR) Business Objects Enterprise XI farm.

Reports are requested through the MS4 application via http requests to the Business Objects Enterprise XI farm, with a list of
parameters appended to the URL. The response is returned to the MS4 application rendering the report in the Crystal
Reports DHTML viewer.
The ORI reports query two Sybase databases: one containing incident data and a separate instance containing reference
data.

The reports source ORI data directly from the database storing the data maintained by the transactional components of the
ORI system. The intention in future releases is to provide a dedicated reporting database to support near real-time reporting
functions. ORI implements the MS4 components (provided by BPS) to maintain
action plan data; this data is stored in the BPS Server. Reports requiring data maintained in the BPS Server do not query the
BPS Server directly instead, action plan extracts copy data from the BPS Server to a Sybase database, which the reports then
query.

These above modules take care to show the business reports. I am involved to make design for the reports and converted it
into to proper documentation for the user.
Then make the query either in front –end or backend, it depends. After this, I design the entire above module’s report, in
crystal report according to the requirement of the client or specification given by the project manager.
