吹けば青嵐 If the summer wind blows through the fresh leaves,

言葉も飛ばしてしまえ Just blow the words away as well

I said, as I stared wide-eyed in amazement
目を丸くした僕がそう聞いたから And so, bluntly, you said
ぶっきらぼうにあなたは言った “Heh, I can freely bend it to my will”
「何もかも思いのままだぜ」

風を待っていたんだ Because a society that fits the mold is too suffocating
型に合った社会はずいぶん窮屈過ぎるから And so, I was waiting for a rain even heavier
I was waiting for a wind that would just blow away my feelings
それじゃもっと酷い雨を
ただ気分を飛ばす風を

吹けば青嵐 If the summer wind blows through the fresh leaves,

何もかも捨ててしまえ Just cast everything away
If we stay this way,
今に僕らこのままじゃ Soon we will even forget who we are
誰かも忘れてしまう
青い胡桃も吹き飛ばせ Blow away the green chestnuts as well
Blow away the sour quince as well
酸っぱいかりんも吹き飛ばせ Make the wind that will destroy this town
もっと大きく酷く大きく Rage even fiercer, as fierce as it can be
この街を壊す風を

Come forth, summer wind; blow through the fresh leaves

吹けよ青嵐 And cast everything away
何もかも捨ててしまえ Go and blow away the sadness, dreams, and everything else, Matasaburo
If we head towards the long road,
悲しみも夢も全て飛ばしてゆけ、又三郎 Then the words are your wind
