2024 Division Schools Press Conference

Hosting Script

Journalism is an art that paints with words, capturing the essence of truth in every
stroke. In the hands of a journalist, where every story is a symphony of words,
harmonizing truth with emotion to create a melody that resonates with the soul.

To our top management led by our Schools Division Superintendent, Dr. Jeanelyn
A. Aleman, CESO V, Asst. Schools Division Superintendent, Dr. Maria Judelyn A.
Ramos, CESO VI, our Curriculum Implementation Division (CID) Chief, Dr. Juliet A.
Magallanes, School Governance Operations Division (SGOD) Chief, Dr. Gay
Apduhan, Education Program Supervisors – Ma’am Myrna Jala for English and Dr.
Josephine Tomboc for Filipino, municipal mayor of Tukuran, Hon. Macario V.
Tingson, local officials, Public Schools District Supervisors led by the host District,
Dr. Evangeline Lamayo for Tukuran West and Dr. Vicima Abrea for Tukuran East,
ZSSPA President, Mr. Jennilou Foro, facilitators, judges, active school paper
advisers, teacher-coaches, and brilliant campus journalists, good morning.

Welcome to the 2024 Division Schools Press Conference Closing and Awarding
Ceremonies!

To formally start our program, may we please request everyone to rise for our
musical invocation via multimedia and this will be followed by a mass singing with
a song entitled “Hawak Kamay”.

You may now be seated.

Now, to set the tone for our closing and awarding cereminies, let us hear a
message from someone whose dedication to education knows no bounds. Please
join me in welcoming our Schools Division Superintendent, Dr. Jeanelyn A.
Aleman, CESO V for her congratulatory message.

Today, we extend our gratitude to those who have worked tirelessly to ensure the
success of the Division Schools Press Conference. Please join us in welcoming our
esteemed judges, the Technical Working Group (TWG), facilitators, and
representatives from the host school to receive their well-deserved certificates.

Each certificate represents dedication, hard work, and a commitment to fostering


the growth of young journalists. Let's give them a round of applause for their
outstanding contributions!

A heartfelt thank you to our judges, TWG, facilitators, and the host school for
their invaluable contributions. Your efforts have not only shaped this event but
have also left a lasting impact on the participants.

Ladies and gentlemen, we have come to the moment we have all been waiting for
- the announcement of 2024 Division Schools Press Conference winners! The top
five participants in each category have truly demonstrated excellence in the field
of journalism.

Anent to that, it is also our pleasure to announce that the top three winners in
each category will have the honor of advancing to the Regional Schools Press
Conference. This is a testament to your outstanding skills, and we wish you the
best as you represent our Division on the regional tilt.

Let’s start this off with the individual categories.

Congratulations to all the winners for the well-deserved victory! You have finally
sowed the fruit of your toils which therefore earns you a spot in the upcoming
2024 Regional Schools Press Conference. Congratulations once again!

Ladies and gentlemen, as we further our closing and awarding ceremonies, may
we call on our esteemed Assistant Schools Division Superintendent, Dr. Ma.
Judelyn J. Ramos, CESO VI for her appreciation message.
Let’s welcome her with a resounding applause.

As we express our gratitude to Dr. Ramos, let's not forget another key figure
whose guidance and expertise have played a crucial role in making this

So, as we bid adieu, let's take with us the camaraderie, the inspiration, and the
