Is an architectural style also known as universal design. Its
design approach is usage of the same building materials
throughout the globe. this makes the designed buildings not
a comfortable and favorable space. Its because universalism
design does not consider local conditions the materials are
produced in highly developed countries which only
considers the climate and other conditions of a certain
country.

REGIONALISM ARCHITECTURE
Is an architectural style which is more concerned on building
spaces on regional context based on the site’s natural
behaviors and the type of material which is found nearby.
Regionalism architecture is more sustainable because it is
based on the local analysis of the site and the materials used
on the construction process can be integrated with the
environment since they are found on the area.

It was an architectural movement in the 19th century after the second


world war. This style emerged with new technological materials like
steel, reinforced concrete, and glass.

This style rejects ornamentation and follows minimalist approach which


makes the buildings purely functional building.

POST MODERNISM ARCHITECTURE

It is an architectural style emerged in the late 1950s. this style opposes


the modernist strict and rigid doctrines. In the eyes of this approach
modern architectural style ignores histories of cities. Post-modernist
architectural style gives emphasis not for only functions also for the
beauty of the space by emphasizing facades, usage of ornaments for
interesting look, involving historical elements to the buildings.

It is an architectural movement emerged from
constructivist art movement which has a goal to
show modern and industrial society.

This style rejects ornamentation to show materials


which are the products of industrial society. The
designs were combined with technology. Pure 3D
designs.

DECONSTRUCTIVISIM ARCHITECTURE
This architectural style emerged in 1980s opposing
the constructivism style. It also a part of post
modernism movement.

This style is known for the absence of continuity,


symmetry, and harmony on the buildings.

Buildings are dislocated and distorted.

It is the 21st architectural style which it doesn’t have fixed architectural
style. This contemporary approach is giving solutions for current
problems by current technological appliances and materials. this
approach is known for the conceptual designs and forms of a building.
The architectural styles found under contemporary architectural styles
differs one to one other.
