HW ARCHITECT

We are looking for talented candidates with strong system-level hardware architecture expertise
(compute, sensing, user interfaces, power, and interconnect) and familiarity with system modeling for
complex electronic systems. As Hardware Architect you will be working on system design and defining
overall architecture of computer system as well as improving the existing one. This includes creating
specifications for the hardware components, components selection, involvement in prototyping and
POC development for feasibility study, integration, testing and validation, cost analysis, regulatory
compliance, and lifecycle management. Factors such as performance, power consumption and
integration compatibility will be something you shall be considering all the time.

Key Qualifications:
• 7+ years of product experience in electrical, systems or computer engineering
• Extensive experience with system architecture and associated tradeoffs for complex
electronic systems that span hardware, software, and mechanical aspects.
• Experience in creating system models to analyze system compute, latency, and
communication interface bandwidths across multiple subsystems within a heterogeneous
compute environment in order to define the system architecture to meet the overall goals
of the product definition.
• Excellent communication skills and demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally with a
wide range of stakeholders including EE design, software, mechanical engineering, as well as
product development team.
• Ability to develop system architecture options that meet requirements, analyze system
performance based on the POC, and make recommendations based on various optimization
criteria.
• Strong system modeling experience at functional and physical levels, as well as POC
development using rapid prototyping tools.
• Strong understanding of analog and digital fundamentals and circuit design
• Working knowledge of serial communication interfaces and BUS topologies, like CAN, LIN,
SPI, UART, Ethernet, etc.
• Experience working with partnerships teams and external partners at both a supply base
and product level.

Good to have:
• Understanding ISO13458 and ISO14971
• Experience in firmware development, programming, computer vision, and OS.
• Medical systems design and development.
