Motivation
(Write in 200 words maximum why you want to participate in this project)
One of the main reasons for choosing to partake in NextGEng is my passion for finding and engineering
solutions for various day to day problems. I am the kind of person that sees any challenge as a puzzle
waiting to be solved. This project also matches some of my past endeavors, such as my participation in
ZEM with a foam cutting CNC and also my 2 month traineeship in Biomimicry spent at CUT (Cyprus
University of Technology) under the tutelage of Alessandro Bianciardi (university teacher, inventor and
entrepreneur). I also believe that my participation in this project will help me set the foundation of my
career as an engineer, considering I am a 4th year student and might as well shape the trajectory of my
area of expertise considering future studies.

Contribution

As an avid problem solver, I believe that my contributions to this project could be significant. One of my
strong points consists in my affinity with mathematics and out of the box thinking. I consider myself a
good mediator, a good decision maker, a critical thinker and a more than adequate communicator, skills
I’ve developed due to my background in debating and sales. I also have a deep understanding of
troubleshooting and optimizing code and mathematical systems. Most of all I always try to bring a
positive attitude to even the most daunting projects, always seeing the bright side.
Highlights

the team that will develop this project. Aspects related to your skills, your training in other aspects that
you consider should be taken into account as well as your capacity for effort and commitment).
I consider that the main highlight of my application is my versatility and perseverance. I never shy
away from a challenge and I consider myself a jack of all trades being the master of some.
