Subject: Motivational letter for admission

Dear Sir/Ma’am,
With this letter, I would hereby likely to apply for Master in Data Analytics at Berlin
School of Business & Innovation in the academic year 2022.

Background: (Qualifications, Employment and Career Goals)

First of all, I would like to introduce myself, my name is Adeel Ahmed and recently I
have been working for Blue lake Consultant in United Kingdom as a Business Analyst.
I have completed my under graduation from University of East London in BSc
Technology and E-Commerce and Master degree in Software Engineering from City,
University of London. I had some gap in my Master education, the one I had done from
City, University of London is just because I had a very bad road traffic accident in
2015 and just because of that I had little gap to complete my Master education but
still I never gave up on my studies.

The undergraduate degree in Computer Sciences and Engineering in London has

familiarized me variety of computing modules like computer architecture and
language, advanced programming, database system and also related to networking
(internet science and technology, internet security, operating system and networking),
ubiquitous system, artificial intelligence, mobile communication and software
engineering. Also in business related subjects (business management, strategic
management and marketing and project management). Also some modules related to
E-commerce like E-business and technology. All these subjects give me strong
understanding of theoretical and practical concept of Computer science and software
engineering. While Master degree in Software engineering includes advanced concepts
like programming with java and concurrency which helps me a lot in understanding
new concepts of programming like LTSA(labeled transition system analyzer), thread in
Java and algebraic laws. Database helps to understand new concept of deadlocking
and requirement engineering helps me in understanding of SD-SR modeling. Business
engineering with ERP helps to understand Microsoft dynamics and BPMN modeling.
Service oriented architecture helps to understand between different web services
available and how to use them and last one software system design which helps a lot
in understanding of UML diagrams and sequence diagram and use-case. My master
thesis was (challenges face by enterprise resource planning (erp) in order to develop
procurement process). This thesis is quite challenging as I had developed new ways
and learn new methods of delivering things from one place to another and what are
the different challenges faced by enterprise in procurement process.

In my undergraduate and Master Studies, I have benefited from the breadth of

University of East London and City, University of London content that has given me a
comprehensive exposure to the core areas of Computer Science and a strong
conceptual understanding of the same. I have strived to maintain an approach
of expending independent effort in all my endeavors. Learning by myself and sharing
my knowledge with others has been most worthwhile, when comprehending a concept.
My interest in Computer Science arouse when I was in my second year of under
graduation. I believe that Computer Science is the application of disciplined,
systematic approach to the operation, development and maintenance of software. The
discipline of Computer Science increased my interest towards this field is it covers
tools, knowledge and methods to define software requirements and to perform
computer programming, software design, user interface design, software maintenance
tasks and software testing. Since I have a quite strong academic background in field of
computing I believe that this master course in computer science perfectly suits my
profile and career prospects. I go through the course which you are offering and which
is quite interesting.
I am always eager of learning new technologies and I want to do another master to
learn new technologies which I haven’t done it before and I think these modules will
help me to explore new thing towards computer science. While offering both depth and
extensiveness across this field, this course put into perspective the relevance of
Computer Science and the application of its fundamentals to the problems faced by
the real world. Therefore, I can acknowledge that further development of my
knowledge base of Computer Science is essential for my career.

I will have a great contribution to the society since I have ideas to develop many
exciting projects and I believe this master can give me solid theoretical and practical
base. Through this master course offered at Munster University I believe that I will be
able to cultivate skills and competencies needed in that field. I would offer my
leadership skills, a strong educational background and desire to go one-step further
than the others would. I have the right academic record, the right skills and attitude
to succeed and I am convinced that this program is the right stepping-stone for my
professional ambitions.

Future ambition and aspiration:

My future ambitions and aspirations are to be a Data Scientist depends on the criteria
to measure my success, and, a criterion for my success is completion of the recognized
qualifications. Evaluation of my skills and weaknesses is crucial for my success.
Describing my strengths, I am good at problem solving, have good interpersonal,
communication, Information Technology skills and in organizing and planning things.
I am quite determined and effective under the pressures. To cover up my Future
weaknesses I need to work much hard on the programming skills as per demand of
the growing transformation.
