1. System Requirements
1.1 Introduction

 The proposed system shall support the following requirements:


 A real time video connection from a vehicle which shall be driving along
Arco Norte Highway to the designated CCO (Command Center
Operation at police station at Pachuca).
 The system demonstration shall tack place at Police station at Pachuca
The demonstration shall include the following issues:
o A real time video connection from a pole installed along the highway
(Cam Site#1) To CCO.
o A real time video connection from a vehicle while driving at the
Mobility area To CCO.
o PTP Radio link operation for backhaul connectivity.

1.3 PoC General Description


The PoC shall take place at the location as describe on the Map at figure 1.3:
 CCO

 The CCO shall be at the police station at Pachuca, the customer need
to coordinate a room for the demonstration.
 The CCO shall connect to the system via a PTP Radio Link from the
Base Station at the Mobility area*
Note *) depending LOS Condition between the Base Station to the
Police station

 Mobility Area

 Coverage area distance - The distance of the road at the POC shall be
approximately 5 [Km] according to figure 1.3.
 Vehicle
 One Vehicle shall drive along the road on both ways.
 Vehicle Speed shall be no more than 200 [Km/h].

 Application service type

 One stream of video from the vehicle to the CCO at 2Mbps capacity
 One stream of video from a camera site installed along the highway
(Cam Site#1) To CCO at 2Mbps capacity.

2. System Specifications and Assumptions

2.1 System Description


 The system is a Wireless System is consist of the following:

 Mobility communication system supporting the following:


 Mobility communication from a Police vehicle while it is driving
along the road at the Mobility area.
Assumption – the vehicle, MEI shall supply it and drive for the
demonstration.
 Video camera installed at the pole at the road at the Mobility area.
 PTP Radio Link for connect the Mobility System to the Police station at
Pachuca, for the customer system demonstration.
Assumption – The operation of the PTP radio link is depending of clear
Line Of Sight between the Base Station at the road to the Police station
at Pachuca.

 The wireless system includes One (1) Base Station (BS) and One (1) vehicle.
 Figure 2.1 describe system architecture.

3.5 Installation Activities and responsibility

 Table 3.5 describes all the activities for system installation and each responsibility.
 The installation shall start at 25/11/2013, Monday morning from 8:00 AM.
 MEI shall provide at least two teams at this day, One shall install all the elements at
the Base Station and the second will be install the elements at the police station, after
finishing all the installation the PTP alignments shall done with the two teams.
 The two teams need to climb to the poles at the Base Station and the tower at the
police station.
 For the installation at the Base station pole, EMI need to bring a basket crane of at
least 15m height.
 Bynet engineers (Asher and Shmuel) shall advise and check the installation
connection.

 The team of that work at the Police Station shall install this site after finishing
installation at the police station.
 For the installation at the Base station pole, EMI need to bring a ladder of 3m.

5. CCO - Police Station System Description

5.1 System Description

 The Police Station shall be the place for the customer people
demonstration, the Base Station is connected to the Police station via a
Point to Point radio link from the Base Station pole.

6. Vehicle System Description

6.1 System Description

 All the equipment shall be installed at one (1) cabinet box which shall be
placed at the roof of the vehicle.

7. POC Test Description

 Table 7 describes the entire scenarios and tests at the POC.

The purpose of the POC trail is to test Mobility Wireless System specifications
including Capacity Vs. Range Vs. Speed with One Base Station consist of Two HBS
Radio Units
- One Base Station including Two HBS radio connecting back to back configuration
- One Vehicle driving along the coverage area map
- Application - Video from the Vehicle to the BS
- Testing Points: at the Vehicle and the second point shall be at the BS near the Pole
Scenario unless there are a networking connectivity from the Pole to the CCO/Building
Description Vehicle Speed: Vehicle shall be driving along the coverage Road with a different
speeds maximum 200 [Km/h] and sending a video from the local existing camera at
the Vehicle to the BS point test, the vehicle shall drive at both directions of the road
System Coverage Range: The vehicle shall drive in both directions of the road until
the wireless connectivity disconnect to test the maximum coverage area of the wireless
system - WITH LOS CONDITION ONLY
System Capacity: The vehicle shall be driving inside the coverage road area and
shall test the maximum capacity and characteristics of the wireless system.
