2. Describe at least one way in which the executive branch is able to influence the actions of the

legislative branch and at least one way in which it is able to influence the actions of the judicial

branch. (1 point)

The only way that the executive branch is able to influence the actions of the legislative branch is

because that the legislative branch is the one who makes the laws for us but with executive

branch they can veto those laws meaning that they can refuse to listen to what they have to say or

admit or approve the conversation they do not have to keep going if they do not want too. Well

the executive branch is able to influence the actions of the judicial branch is because well they

have the ability to appoint federal judges and issue problems and pardons. Also they have the

power to make executive orders.

3. Describe at least one way in which the legislative branch is able to influence the actions of

the judicial branch and at least one way in which it is able to influence the actions of the

executive branch. (1 point)

Well, the judicial branch is the one who interprets the laws for us while the legislative branch

confirms the president’s nominations for the judicial positions and they can impeach anyone for

doing bad things. The legislative branch has the power to declare war because they have the legal

authority to do so that is their job. For legislative branch, they are the ones that create the laws

and declares war on whoever starts one also the legislative branch keeps up with spending
policies or tax policies. Here it the thing about the executive branch the president can veto the

law but the legislative branch can override that veto with enough votes meaning that the votes

will declare who ever wins because the votes can help the president out in the house.

4. Describe at least one way in which the judicial branch is able to influence the actions of the

legislative branch and at least one way in which it is able to influence the actions of the

executive branch. (1 point)

Judicial branch is the one that decides the federal laws and it punishes lawbreakers who like to

break the law and not listen. The judicial branch has the power to interpret and apply are law

which is not a bad thing. It also decided for us what the laws mean and why we have to follow

them or we will get in trouble. Judicial branch can delare acts of the president unconstitutional

powers which can remove any of those people from the white house.
Now that you have reflected on the powers and responsibilities of each branch, answer the

following questions. This section is worth 11 points.

1. The federal government creates the laws that govern the entire nation. Compare the role each

branch of government plays in this process and explain which branch plays the most important

role in creating laws. (3 points)

I am going to have to go with legislative laws because they are the one’s who created all of the

laws and they are the one’s who declare war and they are the one’s who control are taxes and are

spending policies they are the ones who keeping track of how we spend policies that is there

laws and they created that so legislative branch has more power then judicial and executive

branch because they do not have that much power.

2. The federal government is responsible for enforcing laws and carrying out policies. Compare

the role each branch of government plays in this process and explain which branch plays the

most important role in enforcing laws and carrying out policies. (3 points)
The executive branch is the one that enforces the laws of the land. The executive branch executes

the law. The responsibilities of this executive branch are enforcing our laws and the vice

president is the one to help out are president of the United States power is that the president of

the executive branch has the right to conduct diplomacy with other nations across the world and

also the president has the power to make is executive orders.

check and balances. Compare the ways each branch balances out the other branches' powers

and explain how the judicial branch plays a critical role in maintaining the system of checks and

balances. (3 points)

The judicial branch is the one that decides the federal laws and it punishes lawbreakers who like

to break the law and not listen. The judicial branch has the power to interpret and apply are law

which is not a bad thing. It also decided for us what the laws mean and why we have to follow

them or we will get in trouble.

4. Based on what you have learned, which branch of government do you believe has the most

power overall? Support your opinion with examples. (2 points)

I think the one that has the most power overall would be the legislative branch because For

legislative branch they are the ones that create the laws and declares war on whoever starts one

also the legislative branch keeps up with spending policies or taxing policies Well a legislative

branch power would be having to declare war because they have the authority to do that and

rejecting any presidential information
