DO YOU EVER FIND YOURSELF STUCK IN A RUT,
FEELING LIKE YOU'RE NOT ACCOMPLISHING
ANYTHING? IF YOU'RE STRUGGLING TO FOCUS ON
WHAT'S IMPORTANT, THIS JOURNAL IS RIGHT FOR
YOU.
“Setting goals is the first step in turning the invisible into the visible.” — Tony Robbins
Everything begins with the establishment of goals. To bring these ambitions to fruition, a
well-crafted plan becomes imperative. The 'Marketing Insight Journal' emerges as a
valuable companion in strategizing and working towards our objectives.
Monthly goals help us break down our larger goals into manageable pieces. When we
have a large goal that we want to achieve, it can be overwhelming. By setting smaller
goals each month, we can stay on track and not get overwhelmed.
In addition, monthly goals help us measure our progress. We can look back at the end of
the month and see how far we’ve come. This can give us the motivation to keep going
and achieve our larger goal.
Finally, monthly goals help us stay accountable. It’s easy to make excuses for why we
didn’t achieve our goal. But when we have specific monthly goals, it becomes harder to
make excuses and we are more likely to stay on track.

Step #1
DEFINE YOUR GOALS
“The question I ask myself like almost every day is, ‘Am I doing the
most important thing I could be doing?’” — Mark Zuckerberg
What is it that you want to achieve this month? What is the most
important thing you can move forward this month?
3. GET SPECIFIC.
Vague goals are more difficult to achieve than specific ones. When setting a goal, be as specific as possible
about what you want to achieve and how you plan to achieve it. For example, rather than setting a goal like
“lose weight,” try setting a goal like “lose 10 pounds by exercising three times per week and eating healthy
meals most days of the week."

VISUALIZE ACHIEVING THE GOAL
A NOTE ON VISUALIZATION
Visualize a future version of yourself. In a month from now, you have reached your goal for
this month. What did you do? How do you feel? Where are you realizing that you made it?
Write it down and then take a few minutes to draw a really vivid picture in your mind. Come
back to what you have written and to this picture whenever you don’t feel like doing the work
and when you are doing your weekly checkins (see below).
