and navigate these changes to develop healthy relationships and emotional well-being.

Health Sessions 20 minutes Activity Title: Emotion Charades


Description: Students act out different emotions for others to guess, highlighting the complexity of emotions during
adolescence.
Duration: 10 minutes
Materials: Emotion cards (happy, sad, angry, etc.)
Procedure:
1. Distribute emotion cards to students.
2. One student at a time acts out an emotion without speaking.
3. Classmates guess the emotion being portrayed.
4. Discuss how emotions can vary during adolescence and the importance of understanding and managing them.

Stages of Adolescence

Adolescence is the period of transition between childhood and adulthood. It includes some big changes—to the body, and
to the way a young person relates to the world.

The many physical, sexual, cognitive, social, and emotional changes that happen during this time can bring anticipation
and anxiety for both children and their families. Understanding what to expect at different stages can promote healthy
