QUESTION 1: How does genes and parenting to be the main factors that influences growth and
development of the child?
The growth and development of a child is influenced by various factors, that includes both the
nature and nurture. The genes and parenting are considered to be the two of the main factors that
influence a child's growth and development. Why? Because genes provide the blueprint for physical and
cognitive development, genes can influence a child's temperament, personality, and intelligence. And also
parenting also plays a critical role in a child's growth and development. By giving a warm supports, love,
care and responsive parenting style would have a positive outcome in children, including better social
skills, higher self-esteem, and improved academic performance. So, it is very important to note that while
genes and parenting are important factors in a child's development, they are not the only factors. Other
factors, such as environmental influences, peer relationships, and cultural factors, also play a role in
shaping a child's growth and development.
