 CONDITIONS OF REGISTRATION
1. General Conditions
a) This Certificate is non-transferable.
b) This Certificate allows the holder of the
Certificate to execute only the Project specified in
this Certificate.
2. Validity
This Certificate is valid until the Expiry Date
specified this Certificate.
3. Contractor's Responsibilities and Obligations.
a) The foreign contractor shall comply with the
provisions of the Lembaga Pembangunan Industri
Pembinaan Malaysia Act 1994 ("the Act"), the
regulations made thereunder and any term,
condition or restriction made thereunder and any
term, condition or restriction imposed the
Lembaga from time to time.
b) The foreign contractor shall submit any
information by the Lembaga from time to time.
c) If for any the date of completion of the project
is extended, the contractor shall apply to the
Lembaga within fourteen days before the expiry of
validity of this Certificate to extend the validity of
this Certificate. The application shall be supported
by documentary evidence.
d) The foreign Contractor shall display the
Certificate of Registration issued by the Lembaga
or a certified true copy of the Certificate by the
Lembaga at the place of Business.
e) The foreign contractor shall display his
registration number on the signboard at each
construction site.
4. Disciplinary Action
The registration of the foreign contractor shall be
cancelled, suspended if:
a) the foreign contractor fail to comply with
requirements of any other written laws;
b) the foreign contractor has been adjudicated a
bankrupt;
c) a winding-up petition in relation to the foreign
contractor has been presented;
d) the foreign contractor contravenes or fails to
comply with any provisions of the Act;
e) the foreign contractor has obtained Certificate
by making or causing to be made any false or
fraudulent declaration, certificate or
representation ether in writing or otherwise ;
f) the foreign contractor has abandoned any
construction works undertaken without any good
reason;
g) the foreign contractor is found negligent by the
court or any board of enquiry established under
any written law in connection with any
construction works undertaken; or
h) the foreign contractor contravenes any of the
terms and conditions of the Contractor’s
Responsibilities and Obligations as specified in
paragraph 3.
