Our characters were kind of tropey and based off of usual characters an audience would see in a

post-apocalyptic film; A mysterious and cool protagonist, an informative ally or someone apart
of a resistance, a security guard acting as fodder for the protagonist to execute, a cowardly and
greedy minor antagonist and a mysterious and all-powerful major antagonist. One thing to
mention is that the major antagonist, Teras, was an ironic subversion, having a build up to such a
powerful and mostly unseen enemy and leading to a cliff hanger, only to interrupt it to the
antagonist instantly getting killed.
The research done on our characters’ appearances and other films’ locales assisted us, our
characters mostly taking inspiration from video games such as Arbeit having the gear and COMP
of Kazuya from Shin Megami Tensei I(1992) (we also planned for Arbeit to have wires
connecting his arm to other parts of his body like Kazuya but it made it hard to move around so
we scrapped the idea). Our film inspirations mostly derive from the irony of Shaun of the
Dead(2004) and the emptiness of another apocalyptic short-film by the name of Last Man(2022).
Another game called Fallout New Vegas(2010) gave us the idea of having our world mostly be a
vast desert, with a main high power controlling and keeping the world the state that it’s in, with
the protagonist having to either put a stop to their reign or taking over the reign themselves.
